Your files never leave your device. For the rare tools that require server processing, files are encrypted during transfer, processed momentarily, and immediately deleted.

No. We follow a strict zero data retention policy. Files processed in your browser never touch our servers. For server-assisted tools, files are permanently deleted immediately after processing. We do not read, view, or retain ownership of any file you upload.

This varies by tool. Our Image Converter supports JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, GIF, TIFF, and AVIF. The PDF tools work with standard PDF files up to 100MB. The Document Converter handles Word (DOCX), PDF, HTML, and Markdown formats. Each tool page shows its specific format support.

Most image tools accept files up to 20MB. PDF tools support files up to 100MB. These limits ensure smooth browser-based processing. For larger files, we recommend the PDF Compressor tool first to reduce file size.

It uses a machine learning model (via @imgly/background-removal) that runs entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. The first use downloads a ~50MB AI model which is then cached for future use. Processing takes a few seconds depending on image size and your device performance.
